Richelle J. Schaefer, M.Sc. Psych., M.A.

Psychologische Psychotherapeutin

About me

I was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada. Even though I deeply love the "true north strong and free", Germany has been my home since 2014. I am married and live in Ludwigshafen with my husband and our wonderful cat, Daisy.

It is extremely important to me that I am able to offer my patients the best treatment possible and as such, I regularly attend scientific conferences, partake in further education seminars and am currently finishing my clinical research work for my PhD at the University of Mannheim.

  • PhD candidate at the Clinical and Biological Psychology and Psychotherapy Department, University of Mannheim, Germany
  • Postgraduate training as a clinical psychotherapist at the Center of Psychological Psychotherapists (specialization cognitive behavioral therapy), University of Mannheim, Germany
  • M.Sc. in Clinical Forensic Psychology at King’s College London in England
  • M.A. in Criminology at Simon Fraser University in Canada
  • B.A. in Psychology at the University of the Fraser Valley in Canada
